A widely sought after comedian in Tamil cinema at present, Yogi Babu is a busy man with multiple projects which include Thalapathy 63 with Vijay, Jiiva’s Gorilla, Sivakarthikeyan’s Mr. Local, GV Prakash’s Watchman, Zombie with Yashika Aannand along with projects that will see him in the lead role namely Gurkha and Dharmaprabhu.

That said, Yogi Babu's next is yet another interesting project titled Panni Kutty alongside Karunakaran, Singam Puli, TP Gajendran, Dindigul Leoni, "Ennamma" Ramar, "Palaya Joke" Thangadurai, Lakshmipriya in starring roles with the film's first look posters released.
Panni Kutty is being directed by Anucharan Murugaiyan’s direction under the Lyca Productions banner in association with Super Talkies and Tribal Arts with music by K.
It must be noted Panni Kutty will be the second film Yogi Babu will be seen in a major role in a Lyca Productions venture after last year’s smash hit, Kolamaavu Kokila, which had Nayanthara in the lead role.
