Kalavani 2 was released on the 5th July, starring Vemal, Oviya in the lead, directed and produced by A. Sarkunam, under the banner Varmans Productions. features RJ Vigneshkanth, Saranya Ponvannan, Ganja Karuppu and others in supporting roles. Kalavani 2's trailer was released in April and gathered over 2 Millions. But the movie did not go well and have been receiving mixed reviews from the moviegoers. A couple of people also felt that the sequel did not match up to the first one. However, the makers of the movie have released a video song, go watch it below!
"Anandha Koochal" was sung, written and composed by Mani Amuthavan. The movie's background music was scored by Natarajan, editing is handled by Raja Mohammed, and lyrics are penned by Vivekha and Arun Bharathi. The movie was earlier slated to release on the 28th of June but due to unknown reasons, the release date was pushed.
Vemal has C.S AMudhan's Rendavathu padam in his kitty and Oviya will be seen in an extended cameo role in Aarav's Raaja Bheema.
