Releasing too many movies at once is definitely not a great idea but Vivegam’s massive appeal has forced a lot of producers to skip August and wait for the month of September to release their films.

More than a dozen films are scheduled to launch in September. The huge list of movies include Kodi Veeran by Sasikumar, Neruppuda, Semma, Mahesh Babu’s Spyder by AR Murugadoss, Naachiyar, Maayavan, Thiruttu Payale 2, Kathanaayagan and few more.

If all these films are to hit theaters in the same month, it could affect business due to lack of theaters and incur loss for the distributors. While it has not been confirmed, at least 15 films are set for September. Will producers back off and think twice before bombarding audience with too many movies than they could ever watch in a single weekend?
