Oh My Kadavule is a film that garnered a lot of attention this year and turned out to be a huge success at the box office. This romantic comedy film earned critical acclaim as well. Produced by Abinaya Selvam’s Happy High Pictures, in association with Dilli Babu’s Axess Film Factory, Oh My Kadavule released for this year’s Valentines Day. Directed by debutant Ashwath Marimuthu, Oh My Kadavule starred Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, Vani Bhojan in the lead roles. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi acted in an interesting extended cameo which received a good response from the fans. Leon James' beautiful songs and Vidhu Ayyana's eye pleasing visuals elevated the mood of the film to a different level.

The film had a very fascinating theme and beautiful emotions that struck a chord with the audience. Having said that, it has now been announced that the film will be officially screened in the upcoming International Indian Film Festival, Toronto, 2020. Director Ashwath Marimuthu took to his Twitter space to share his happiness and excitement about this. He sounded very positive about the first International recognition for the film and thanked his entire team and audience for the support.

He tweeted, “Okay guys !! First film first international recognition !! Very content ! Congrats to my entire team of cast and crew !! :) thanks to the audience !! :)”. This news must definitely be encouraging for the young team of Oh My Kadavule. Details regarding the screening date is yet to be known. Wishes have been pouring in for Ashok Selvan, Vani Bhojan, Ritika Singh, Ashwath Marimuthu and the entire team of Oh My Kadavule and it is indeed a special moment.

It can be noted that Karthi’s recent acclaimed hit film, Kaithi (directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj) was also announced to be screened in this prestigious festival and it made the fans happy. So, as of now, Kaithi and Oh My Kadavule are going to be the films that are going to represent Tamil cinema and we will have to wait for a few more days to know if any more new entries will be added. This film festival will happen between August 9 and August 15.
