The screening of Vijay's Theri on a private bus shook the entire industry and now Manithan follows the line. It is reported that a private bus running from Coimbatore to Chennai was screening the Udhayanidhi-starrer using a pirated DVD. When a passenger alerted the Nadigar Sangam, steps were taken immediately to stop the screening. The police soon raided the bus and arrested the driver.
