Nooru Janmaku's Santhosh: Life has been tough

Santhosh has come a long way to earn the four letter word HERO. The path towards becoming a hero and coming in thelimelight has truly been a struggle for this aspiring artist.

Startinghis career as a salesman in Eureka Forbes, he still remembers door-to-door selling when all his friends used to be in college. Santhosh still regrets missing campus life. His foundation in salesmade him big. He went on to work for HCL, Monster.com and Texas Instruments. But his passion for cinema made himquit his high-paying job and struggle in tinseltown. He also worked as a model for many brands during his initial days. Many made fun of him, laughed at his foolishness. But his determination and hard work paid off andhe finally became a hero in Nooru Janmaku. "When my flex banners were put up near Windsor Bridge on Bellary road, I was so excited. I had waited for this day for so long."

He is happy with his work in Nooru Janmaku. "Working with an institution like Nagathihalli Chandrasekar my first film and that too as hero was a treat. What more could I ask for? And it made me happier that my friend came forward to produce the film. Andy (Aindrita Ray) was also good to work with; she was supportive and encouraging," adds Santhosh.

Santhosh is currently in the US to promote Nooru Janmaku in Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

He is currently writing a book on his life. Santhoshstill has a long way to go as an actor, his work attitude and dedication is an inspiration to many.
