We have already reported that Vetrimaran's Visaranai will make its way to Bollywood and director Priyadarshan will the wielding the megaphone. Though there were reports that Akshay Kumar might play a key role in the film, it has now been cleared that the 2.0 actor will not be a part of the remake. Visaranai, inspired by a novel 'Lock up', is a brutal one about the experiences of four innocent friends who are arrested by the cops and tortured for 13 days. Their painful experiences in a helpless state form the core content of this movie which is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
