Neha Dhupia and Shahid Kapur have toped the list in a poll conducted by PETA to choose India's Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2012! Hot on their heels in the contest are Sonu Sood, Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush, Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor and Hema Malini. Dhupia, who first made an impression around the world when she was crowned Femina Miss India and landed in the top 10 at the Miss Universe pageant, recently, shot a pro-vegetarian ad for PETA that will be released in 2013. And Kapoor – who was named PETA Asia-Pacific's Sexiest Vegetarian Man for 2011 and PETA India's Sexiest Vegetarian in 2009 – starred in a sizzling ad campaign for PETA India (available here) that read, "Chicks Love a Vegetarian".
The nominees had barely been posted for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India's Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2012 contest before Rush hottie Neha Dhupia and Teri Meri Kahaani star Shahid Kapoor started raking in the votes.
