Lady Superstar Nayanthara has been on a role with her recent hit films like Imaikaa Nodigal, Viswasam and Airaa but her last Friday release Mr.Local has slowed her winning run. Mr.Local, Nayanthara's second outing with Sivakarthikeyan and director Rajesh has opened to some mixed reviews but has managed to fill the seats in the opening weekend. With the movie in theaters, Nayanthara's is set for her next run with the horror flick Kolaiyuthir Kalam.
Nayanthara's Kolaiyuthir Kalam has been in the headlines for negative reasons as Yuvan Shankar Raja said that he has not composed the music for the film after the trailer was launched. Yuvan also had creative differences while producing the venture initially and confusions are there about Yuvan's association with the film. And again, the movie was invloved in a controversy after actor Radha Ravi made some distasteful comments on Nayanthara during the promotional event of the movie.
The latest big news about the controversial film is that Kolaiyuthir Kalam will be hitting the big screens worldwide on June 14th.
About Kolaiyuthir Kalam, the movie is directed by Chakri Toleti and is produced by V Mathiyalagan under the banner Etcetera Entertainment. The cast also invloves Prathap Pothan, Bhoomika Chawla, Rohini Hattangadi in important roles.
