Nandalala to release on Pongal: Mysskin

Hot news: The most-awaited Mysskin film Nandalala, which is about a young boy and a demented man (played by Mysskin)�who go on a search for their respective mothers, will be released on January 14th. Mysskin is extremely happy about the way the film has come out and is extremely thankful to Ilayaraja, whose musical ingenuity�shortened the time taken to complete this film and increased its value manifold.

Mysskin worked long hours to complete the film (which was launched in June ’08) earlier than planned just to give Ilayaraja enough time to compose its background music, which plays a very important role in the film. As requested by Mysskin, Ilayaraja composed symphony for the film’s background and its intense climax.� Mysskin also had flown in special symphony artists from Hungary, who worked with maestro Ilayaraja on the symphony part.

Mysskin said that he is very thankful to the music director, very confident about the film’s success and is eagerly looking forward to its release and the audience response.

Nandalala (also referred to as Nandhalala), starring Snigdha in a very important role, has a heart-wrenching storyline. Speaking about the film, Ilayaraja said that he was deeply moved by the poignancy of the tale and shed tears on several occasions while watching the rushes. The genius further added that Nandalala's theme�is something very new to Kollywood and totally different from�mainstream cinema,�appreciating the way Mysskin has handled the subject.
