Vijay's Nanban, remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots, has completed 75 days in theatres recently. Ever since the release of Nanban, accolades have been pouring in from all the quarters for Vijay, Shankar and their Nanban team. The film, directed by Shankar and produced by Gemini Film Circuit, also has Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana, Sathyaraj and Sathyan in prominent roles.
The film is a take on present education system in India.
