Namitha uncomfortable getting intimate with youngster
A�red hot�romance between a young boy and an older woman has formed the theme of a handful of Indian moviesm and is the basis for the upcoming Namitha starrer Azhagana Ponnudhan, is a Kollywood adaptation of the Malayalam movie Rathi Nirvedham that released in the 80’s. According to the Tamil version, Namitha plays a sex worker in her late twenties. An 18 year old boy, played by debutante Karthees, turns up at the brothel and what ensues is an erotic sequence between the two – or so it was planned by director Thiru. When he explained the sequence to Namitha, the glam queen expressed her discomfiture. After having acted with the likes of Sarathkumar, Vijay and Ajith, she was extremely embarrassed to get close with an 18-year-old. She agreed to do a trial before going for the actual take. It turns out that she did not like what she saw in the monitor and hence it was decided to shoot her portion separately and Karthees’ separately.
