Namaste Madam, which got released this week, is the Kannada remake of Telugu film Missamma, released in 2003. Though the film is said to be a remake, there are reports that the makers have changed the script completely to make it look fresh and appealing.
According to the makers, the original was released 10 years before and hence they made changes to suit today's audiences.
