Kallappadam releasing on March 20 is directed by Vadivel, former assistant of director Mysskin. Mysskin has appreciated the movie a lot increasing the expectations from the movie.

The story revolves around four youngsters - an actor, cinematographer, editor and music director aspiring to prove themselves and come together to make a movie.

The movie also talks about the life of an yesteryear actor who is currently not successful. Kallappadam is touted to be a thriller.

Mysskin has already written songs like 'Vaala Meenukkum' and 'Kathazha Kannala' and he has written a song now 'Vellakaara Rani'. Vadivel says this song is a tribute to his teacher Mysskin as he has announced that his films will not have songs.

The song sequence has been characterized like the shooting spot of a Mysskin movie and to add more surprise, Mysskin has also sung the song.
