Popular South Indian music director Siddharth Vipin got married to Shriya from Kerala on Sunday. Known among Tamil cinema fans mostly for playing a supporting role in 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi's Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara as the film's heroine Nandita Swetha's friend, Siddharth also composed the songs in the 2013 box office blockbuster. Siddharth and Shriya married in a traditional Kerala Hindu ceremony, with pictures and videos from the function being shared by actor Nakhul and his wife Sruti on their Instagram Stories feature.

Siddharth Vipin carved a niche for himself in South India as a composer having made his debut in the 2008 Malayalam film, Kurukshetra, starring Mohanlal in the lead role. He hit the bullseye in 2012 in Tamil in the smash hit Vijay Sethupathi starrer, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and followed it up with hit songs in Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara. Siddharth then went on to land the Santhanam starrers Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham and JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai, including Jackson Durai featuring Sathyaraj and Sibiraj in the lead roles. He also scored the music for the Aishwarya Rajesh and Oviya horror comedy Hello Naan Pei Pesuren, while teaming up once again with Vijay Sethupathi to deliver chart-busters in Junga. His last big films were Cheran's Thirumanam and the S. A. Chandrasekhar-directed Capmaari starring Jai, Athulya Ravi and Vaibhavi Shandilya.

Apart from making a name for himself as a music director, Siddharth Vipin impressed fans on the acting front as well with his short yet memorable role in Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara. He subsequently made appearances in films namely Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham, Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga, Navarasa Thilagam, Hello Naan Pei Pesuren, Karthi's Kaashmora and Vishnu Vishal's Katha Nayagan.
