Sivakarthikeyan's recent venture Mr. Local directed by M.Rajesh was bankrolled by Studio Green K.E.Gnanavel Raja. Lady Superstar Nayanthara paired alongside Sivakarthikeyan for the second time after Velaikaaran. The movie also had Yogi Babu, Sathish, and many others in important roles. Mr Local came out on May 1st with huge expectations but the movie opened to mixed reviews and failed at the box-office.
