Mouna Guru, a 2011 thriller film directed by Santha Kumar, featuring Arulnithi and Iniya in the lead roles, has been selected to be screened at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, which will be held in Hong Kong from March 17 to April 2, 2013.

The director of Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum, Jacob Wong, saw the film at the 10th Chennai International Film Festival, where it won the Special Mention award. He gave a speech, in which he mentioned that the film was good for a film festival and later has invited it to participate in the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
