As a shocking incident on Sunday, former Australian cricketer Michael Slater was removed from a plane by security officers for 'disruptive' behavior which delayed the flight for almost 30 minutes.

According to reports, Micheal Slater along with his two women friends boarded the Quotas flight to his hometown in New South Wales, Wagga Wagga on Sunday. It is said that there was a heated argument between the cricketer which delayed the take-off. Security officials were called and Micheal was removed from the flight.

Following the incident, Quotas confirmed the incident, without naming the cricketer and said,

“Prior to departure on a Sydney to Wagga Wagga flight on Sunday, a male passenger was asked to leave the aircraft for being disruptive. He complied with the crew’s request.”

Micheal Slater himself came out and apologised after for the trouble he caused. Slater said,

"I did have an argument with two friends whilst boarding a flight to Wagga and I apologise for the inconvenience this caused other passengers on the flight"
