Love stories have ruled the charts in all eras. Love never goes out of style. We have seen movies expressing love in different ways. From Alaigal Oivathillai to Bombay, love between two people from a different religious background have been well received.

Meendum Oru Kathal Kathai is one such love story where a Hindu boy falls in love with a Muslim girl. This is a remake of Malayalam film Thattathin Marayathu, starring debutant Gautham and Isha Talwar, who acted in the Malayalam film too.

Mithran Jawahar is directing the movie, who earlier directed Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty and Uthamaputhiran. The cast includes Nasser, Manoj K Jayan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Singamuthu, Singampuli, Vanitha, Sangili Murugan, Venki and Arjun.

Music director GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Vishnu Sharma, lyricists Na Muthukumar, Thamarai, Arun Raja, choreographers Brindha, Santosh Alan, Radhika, stunt choreographer Vijay Jaquar form the team's crew. The album has five songs.

The story is set in Kanyakumari but the movie has been shot in Chennai, Coimbatore, Kerala and Thalaserry. Black Ticket Films has produced the movie and released by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The movie is almost complete and expected to be released soon.
