Masilamani music review

Fresh after the success of Kadhalil Vizhunthen, the team is back with their next, Masilamani. Hero Nakul plays a boy from the slums and Sunaina plays a rich girl. Nakul meets Sunaina in her dance classes andfalls in love with her. How he wins in his love forms the plot of Masilamani. Nakul’s stunts and dances arethe highlights of the film. D. Imman has scored the music.

‘Nacka Romba Nacka’ is in Benny Dayal and Rita’s voices.Benny and Rita are versatile newcomers who have recently made a mark in film playback. Both are known for the interesting dynamics theyadd tosongs which we enjoyin this number too. ‘Odi odi Vilayadu’ is a pleasing song inEmcee Jesz, Suvi and Mukesh’svoices. Each singer’s strength adds to the appeal. When listeners wait for the ‘Nakka Mukka’ equivalent, ‘Chikku Chikku Boom Boom’ the peppy number sung by Keerthi Sagathia, Feji, Baby Harini arrives to satisfy them sufficiently. ‘Dora Dora’ by Balram and Kalyani is an intriguing romantic song. The album closes with Shaan’s solo ‘O Divya O Divya’. D. Imman’s music is a big plus for Masilamani.
