Manikandan, who turned heads with his debut venture Kaaka Muttai, is getting ready for his next project. The director has signed up a new project with producer G. N. Anbu Chezhian of Gopuram films. The film is touted to be an out-and-out comedy entertainer.

Manikandan has risen to fame in a very short period and has received many accolades including the recent K. Balachander award. Meanwhile the successful director has already signed a crime-based film in which he teams up with actor Vidharth. The official announcement with more details of both the films are yet to be revealed.
