Malini 22 Palayamkottai has been in the news lately and the latest news is that the movie has got a clean U certificate by the Censor Board. This film is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster 22 Female Kottayam which had Rima Kallingal in the lead. The original story revolves around a wronged lady taking revenge on those who victimised her.
This film has Nithya Menen in the lead role and the star cast also includes Kota Srinivasa Rao, Kovai Sarala, Vidyulleka Raman, Naresh and Krish J Sathar. Directed by actor Sri Priya, Anand Shankar scores the music for the film.
