The "me too" movement was founded in 2006, to help the survivors of sexual violence. In October 2017, the movement began to spread virally as a hash tag on social media. Following that, there began the sexual abuse allegations in Hollywood. And in 2018 the movement widely spread through India that exposed the sexual predators and abusers.

A few days earlier, Revathy Sampath came out with an allegation against the veteran Malayalam actor, Siddique that he had harassed her verbally during her film screening in 2016. She had revealed it in her social media handle, sharing that she was abused when she was only a 21 years old. See the post below.

As a reply to her accusations, Siddique posted a video on Facebook, presumably the movie Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakeel's deleted scene. In the video, we could see the actor running away after the girl's answer being "me too", for his proposal. A leading media cites him denying the allegations. There hasn't been a response from Revathy for the same yet. Check it out!
