Malavika Nair made her acting debut with a Malayalam film Ustad Hotel, she went on to act in four other Malayalam films between 2012 to 2014. That’s when she got the opportunity to work in the critically acclaimed Tamil film Cuckoo which gave her career a facelift. Since then, she hasn’t acted in direct Tamil or Malayalam film. Malavika shifted her base to Tollywood, she has been doing supporting roles off late. After a while, she has got a chance to play a female lead character in a Telugu film titled Orey Bujjiga. It is a fun entertainer also starring Raj Tarun in the lead role.  
 
The film is produced by KK Radha Mohan in Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan in Konda Vijay Kumar’s direction. Orey Bujjiga has wrapped up its shooting formalities and is gearing up for release on April 3rd as a summer special. Producer KK Radha Mohan in a press statement said, “The entire shooting part of our film, 'Orey... Bujjiga' has been completed. This film is an out & out youth and family entertainer perfectly matching the energy of Raj Tarun. It has an unique story. We are releasing the film on April 3rd as a summer special. Our ‘Orey...Bujjiga’ will surely entertain all sections of the audience. This film will become another a Superhit film for our banner.”  
 
Apart from Raj Tharun and Malavika Nair, Hebah Patel will be seen in a crucial role. Vani Viswanath, Naresh, Posani Krishna Murali, Anish Kuruvilla, Sapthagiri, Raja Raveendra, Ajay Ghosh, Annapurna, Siri, Jayalakshmi, Soniya Chowdary, Sathya, Madhunandan are also part of the cast list.
