Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu recently lost his father and veteran actor, Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, known mononymously as Krishna, at the age of 79 on November 15. This was a big loss and truly a dark day in the Telugu film industry as they mourned the passing of one of their biggest yesteryear stars. Mahesh Babu has since then not spoken about this, that is, up until now.

9 days after his father's passing, The Prince of Tollywood took to his official Twitter handle today (November 24) and posted a sweet and loving tribute to his beloved late father Krishna. He shared a hearfelt note stating what a big influence his father was in his life and how he has promised to carry on his father’s legacy forward without any fear. Along with the note, Mahesh also shared an old picture of his father from his younger days.

The note read - Your life was celebrated... your passing is being celebrated even more... Such is your greatness. You lived your life fearlessly... daring and dashing was your nature. My inspiration... my courage... and all that I looked up to and all that really mattered are gone just like that. But strangely, I feel this strength in me which I never really felt before... Now I'm fearless... Your light will shine in me forever... I will carry your legacy forward... I will make you even more proud... Love you Nanna.. My Superstar ❤❤❤ . Check it out:

Mahesh Babu also lost his mother Indira Devi in September at the age of 70 as well as his elder brother Ramesh Babu, who died earlier in January due to a problem in his kidney. Meanwhile, on the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for his upcoming film which has been tentatively titled SSMB28. He is also committed to starring in S. S. Rajamouli's untitled film which is expected to begin its production in 2023. The film is touted to be a jungle adventure set in Africa.
