Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi has crossed the 100 days mark in theatres today and has turned out to be yet another smash hit for the star, who is currently working on his upcoming film, Sarileru Neekevvaru. Maharshi was Mahesh Babu’s 25th film helmed by director Vamshi Paidipally of Karthi’s Thozha fame with the commercial entertainer also featuring names like Pooja Hedge playing the female lead followed by Allari Naresh, Meenakshi Dixit, Sonal Chauhan, Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad among others in prominent roles. That said, on the occasion of the film’s 100 days celebrations todau, a Maharshi deleted video has now been released.
Maharshi has been bankrolled by Sri Venkateswara Creations in association with Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. After its theatrical release in May, the action drama film surpassed the 100 crore mark in box office collections in quick time. Mahesh Babu has been on a roll of late, especially after his political action film, Bharat Ane Nenu, released last year turned out to be a success as well. With Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi hitting the bullseye, fans will be hoping Mahesh Babu strikes gold and big time once again with his Sarileru Neekevvaru, opposite Rashmika Mandanna and under director Anil Ravipudi’s direction.
