Sivakarthikeyan and Hansika starrer Maan Karate hit the screens last week and has been doing great at the box office. We had earlier reported that the film had got 30% tax exemption. But, a case has been filed against the film saying Maan Karate is not a Tamil word and hence the tax exemption should not be given.
The petitioner also added that the movie encourages drinking. Well, we will have to wait and see if the court would reverse the tax exemption.
