After dropping posters, songs, teasers, and various glimpses, the makers of Laal Singh Chaddha have once again dropped a glimpse of the highly anticipated film. This new glimpse features a hilarious scene shared between the characters of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Naga Chaitanya's Balaraju Bodi at the army camp where they are undergoing training.

This 20 second glimpse starts off with Balaraju Bodi asking Laal if he wears underwear to which he says yes. He goes one to ask him which one and Laal is stunned by the question. Bala says there is no way of living life without underwear and vests - as good the underwear and vest, as good the life. What follows is a montage of scenes where Bala passionately explains to Laal that different types of underwear and vests should be made - underwear and vest for playing, black underwear and vests for sleeping, and a special set of underwear and vest for one's honeymoon.

This scene is inspired by the original Forrest Gump film where Bubba passionately explains to Gump about the different ways one can prep shrimp. Except in this Hindi version of the film, Bala talks about underwear and vests instead of shrimp. This hints at the possibility that how Gump opened up a shrimp company upon Bubba's death, maybe Laal might open up an underwear and vest company upon Bala's death.

Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios. It is a remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name. The film stars Aamir Khan in the titular character alongside Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya who will be making his big Bollywood debut with this film. The film has been scheduled to release theatrically on 11 August 2022, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan and the Indian Independence Day.
