The music of Ramaiya Vastavaiya, directed by Prabhudheva was released recently. The film stars Shurti Haasan as a Punjabi girl and also marks the debut venture of Girish Kumar, son of producer Kumar Taurani. The film is a remake of Prabhudheva's directorial venture in Telugu Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, which got released in 2005. The film is a love story of an NRI boy and a typical Punjabi girl, who faces lots of obstacles in their love journey to lead a successful life. The film is slated to release on July 19, 2013.
