Kulir 100 audio Launched

Gautham Menon launched the audio ofKulir 100 today in a grand function and presented the first audio CD to editor Lenin. Sony BMG owns the audio rights of Kulir 100.

Kulir 100 is a musical treat for the “next generation”. It is perhaps the first Tamil film which will feature exclusive rock and hip-hop songs. Its music director BoBo Shashi is the son of famous music director Murali (of Sabesh-Murali duo). This talented music director is also a part of a popular hip-hop band “Thug Laws”; itsmembers have contributed to this film's music. A Malaysian band, Boomerang X, with whom BoBo has done several music shows, has penned the lyrics of a song. With a vast knowledge of hip-hop and rap and experience of performing in international tours, BoBo has lent an authentic hip-hop feel tosome songs in Kulir 100.

In fact, ‘Hip Hop Hurray’ and ‘Manasellam’ of Kulir 100 have become quite famous even beforethe audio launch. They are among the “most listened-to” songs on our site.

Kulir 100’s producer-director is Anitha Udheep, who has a reputation of having worked in international projects like Shrek and Taken, a sci-fi series produced by Steven Spielberg’s company Dreamworks.

Made with fresh faces and beautified by L.K. Vijay’s camerawork, Kulir 100 is a beautiful tale about a bunch of school kids. Just a look at its title and promos makes it very clear that this film is totally different. It is sure to revolutionizefilms about school kids and start new fads among school goers. Most importantly, it celebrates and heralds the entry of hip-hop music and culture in a grand style.
