Kollywood descends on Chennai International Fashion Week
The biggest fashion event in Chennai came to a close yesterday. Kollywood celebrities made their presence felt, both on and off the ramp at the five day extravaganza.
Day One had Genelia and Namitha setting the ramp on fire. Genelia was the showstopper for Ishita Singh, while Namitha sizzled for Sidney Sladen. Though Neetu Chandra did not walk the ramp, she came to the fashion week, looking stunning in a figure-hugging black dress. Also seen on Day One were Sneha, Simbu, Radikaa and Sarathkumar, Shalini and Shamili, Ramya Krishnan, Rahasya, Sangavi, Kasturi, Aparna, Ashok and Yuva.
Day Four saw a bevy of stars, both on and off the ramp. It�started with Tamannaah walking the ramp for Nishka Lulla. The high point of the day was Sanjana Jon’s show which had Khushbu, Sneha, Prasanna, Srikanth, Narain, Kasturi, Aparna, Vijay Yesudas and wife, Raghuman and family, Rahasya, Arjun and his daughter and finally Suhasini Mani Rathnam walk the ramp.
The final day was no less eventful. Madhushalini walked the ramp in a yellow gown for Lida O’Reily, while hot actresses Shriya Saran and Neetu Chandra were the showstoppers for the CIFW grand finale by Neeta Lulla.
