Kolaigaran is a mystery crime thriller and will have a cat and mouse game between the action king Arjun and Vijay Antony. The movie has been certified U/A by the CBFC and what could be inferred from the promos that Vijay Antony could be a psychotic killer or a serial murderer. The director, Andrew Louis also stated in an interview that Arjun's role is just as hefty as Vijay Antony's.
