Sivakarthikeyan movie to change hands? Deets inside...

Prince Sivakarthikeyan is a busy man and his last release Namma Veettu Pillai had a great run at the theatres and this Pandiraj directorial was well received by the audiences too. SK has quite a few projects in hand and he is currently shooting for his upcoming movie Hero, which is being directed by PS Mithran and bankrolled by Kotapadi J Rajesh, under his KJR Studios banner. Siva's SK14, which is being directed by R Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame has currently gone onto the back-burner after facing some financial issues. However, we now have an update about this movie!

SK 14 was being bankrolled by RD Raja's 24 AM Studios which has earlier produced a number of Sivakarthikeyan's films like Seema Raja, Velaikkaran and Remo. However, the production company is said to be facing some financial issues and that is being touted as the reason behind the project being put on hold. Recent speculations state that Hero's producer KJR Studios has shown an inclination to take over the reins of SK14 as well. SK14 is reportedly a science fiction movie, with Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead.

Maestro AR Rahman has been signed up to score the music for SK14 and he will be lending his voice for the opening song of the film too. We hear that after completing the work for Hero, Sivakarthikeyan will be shooting for the remaining portions of SK14 and the movie is expected to hit the screens towards the mid of next year! Kalyani Priyadarshan will be making her Kollywood debut with Hero, which also has Ivana and Action King Arjun, with Bollywood star Abhay Deol making his Tamil debut through this movie.
