Prabhas has become a pan India star following the massive success of Bahuballi and the star is looking fly high by signing some multilingual biggies. One of the major announcement came a few days back as he teamed up with Bollywood director Om Raut for a periodic film titled Adipurush. The film is said to be the adaptation of Indian epic Ramayan and Prabhas will be donning the role of Lord Ram in the film.

The Hindi-Telugu bilingual will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and a few foreign languages. The project is currently in its pre-production stage and will go on the floors in 2021 with the makers are eyeing a massive 2022 release. The team is yet to reveal the rest of the cast and crew. However, reports suggest that talks are underway with several leading actors from Bollywood to play crucial roles.

Earlier, Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh was rumoured to have signed as the leading lady for the film and now another interesting name has also been added to the buzz. The latest rumours is that the MS Dhoni actress Kiara Advani is the frontrunner for the main female lead. T Series is producing this mammoth project and Kiara Advani played the female lead in T Series produced Kabir Singh, the remake of Arjun Reddy as well. Kiara Advani played as the lead heroine opposite Mahesh Babu in Bharath Ane Nenu and with Ram Charan in Vinaya Vidheya Rama and if she signs this project, Prabhas will be her third Tollywood co-star. An official announcement about the female lead of Adipurush is expected to be made soon.

On the other side, Prabhas is expected to resume the shoot of Radhe Shyam from September onwards which has Pooja Hegde as the leading lady. Prabhas also has a film with Mahanati director Nag Ashwin which is also said to be a pan-Indian multilingual science-fiction project. Bollywood stalwart Deepika Padukone has been roped in as the leading lady, making her Telugu debut.
