One of the biggest hits in Kannada cinema history, the period action film, K.G.F: Chapter 1, the first installment in the two-part series, released last year has gone on to attain a huge fan following with the film also subsequently winning the awards for Best Special Effects and Best Action at the 66th National Awards 2019. Director Prashanth Neel is helming the sequel, K. G. F: Chapter 2, and once again under Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films banner with Yash, reprising his role as Raja Krishnappa Bairya "Rocky" and Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead. With production for KGF 2 progressing at a steady pace in light of its summer 2020 release plan, reputed audio label, Lahari Music, has now announced that the KGF: Chapter 1 original soundtrack volume 2 will be released on October 12 at 6:03 PM following the stellar reception to the OST’s first edition.

As for KGF: Chapter 2, the film has sky-high expectations ever since the first film became an astounding box office success with Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt announced to be playing the much-hyped character named Adheera, whom the actor has revealed will be extremely dangerous and just as threatening and menacing as Thanos from the Avengers films. KGF: Chapter 2 is also expected to be dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages as well just as KGF: Chapter 1.
