Among the many sports-based films that are being made and coming out this year, Sasikumar’s Kennedy Club, too has stirred up quite a lot of excitement among fans as it centers around Kabbadi, which has a huge fan following across the nation including Tamil Nadu. It was only a few days back when reputed production and distribution company, Screen Scene Media Pvt. Ltd had acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the film, which has been helmed by director Suseenthiran. Initially announced to come out in theatres on August 15 as an Independence Day treat, sources close to us have now revealed that Kennedy Club’s release date has now been postponed to August 22.
Starring Sasikumar in the lead role, Kennedy Club produced by D. N. Thai Saravanan under the Nallusamy Pictures banner also has several names in its cast like Bharathirajaa, Samuthirakani, Meenakshi, Soori in pivotal roles with music by D. Imman. Sports-based films have always enjoyed a wide fanbase and the makers of Kennedy Club will no doubt want to make the best out of the entertainer they have packaged.
