Muriyadi, director K. Balachandar's next home production, will be directed by Selva and produced by Kavithalaya.
The movie features Ganesh Venkatraman and Sathyaraj in the lead. This is the 59th project of the banner and will have director Balachandar in an important role. The role was earlier offered to Nasser; later, the veteran director took over the role himself.
Muriyadi is the remake of Malayalam film Passenger with Dileep and Sreenivasan in the lead. Ganesh Venkatraman enacts the lawyer’s role played by Dileep and Sathyaraj plays the role of Sreenivasan, a common man. Music of Muriyadi was by D. Imman.
Kavithalaya is already producing Nootrukku Nooru with Vinay in the lead. They started Muriyadi as quickie this November in Pollachi and expect to wrap it up by December.
