Kazhugu 2 was released yesterday, the 2nd of August starring Kreshna, Bindu Madhavi and Kaali Venkat in the lead roles. Being a sequel to the 2012 release Kazhugu, Yuvan Shankar Raja has reprised his role as the music director of the movie. Directed by Sathyasiva, the camera for Kazhugu 2 was cranked by Raja Bhattacharjee. A song from the movie, titled Sakalakala Valli, featured Yashika Aannand and 300 other dancers was a super hit chart buster in the album. Kreshna has in his kitty, Graghanam co-starring Chandran and Nandini Rai, directed by "Pyaar Prema Kaadhal" fame, Elan. Unfortunately the movie was delayed and Kreshna had moved on to his next project, titled Thiru Kural, which is under post-production. He would next be debuting in Malayalam cinema through the movie Picasso.
