Karunas releases music album
Over the years, we have quite forgotten that actor Karunas’ tryst with showbiz did not begin with cinema. He is a musician first and an actor next. Karunas and his wife, Grace have worked on a number of Tamil music albums, but the singer-actor’s latest album is quite different from his previous works. Titled Mukkulathor Mugavari, the album comprises songs that sing the praise of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar. Lyrics for the songs are written by Vairamuthu and Pulamai Pithan and set to tune by Karunas who has also sung the numbers. The album has been produce by the Muthuramalinga Thevar Literary Association.
