As it was already known, Karthick Naren has been busy with Arun Vijay for his upcoming film Mafia. The film stars Arun and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead along with Prasanna. The story is set in the background of Chennai and is a high-octane gangster film. Some days back it was reported that the team is in Thailand shooting the last leg of the film. Now, it has been announced that the film has been wrapped up! That sure was fast!
While Priya Bhavani had completed her portions of the shoot sometime back, now the whole film’s shoot has been wrapped up. This means that the makers may find a release date soon enough! The director took to Twitter and unveiled a new poster along with the news that the shoot has been wrapped. He also wrote that these have been the happiest days in a very long time.

It is also being reported that the teaser of Mafia will be out with Suriya’s Kaappaan in theatres from September 20. Since Lyca Productions is bankrolling both the films, it may be the reason why the teaser of Mafia is being released with Suriya’s Kaappaan.
