Now, a new film tentatively being called Karthi 17 has begun rolling under newcomer Rajath Ravishankar’s direction with actor Karthi in the lead role.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh will be romancing Karthi in the film, which has music by Harris Jayaraj under the Prince Pictures banner.
Meanwhile, reports have been rife over the past few days regarding the film’s title with many claiming the makers have locked in on the title Dev.
Reportedly a cop story, Karthi 17 aka. Dev will see veteran actor Karthik making a special appearance.
The film also features actress Ramya Krishnan in a vital supporting role.
National Award-winning actor Prakash Raj too has been cast in an important role in the film.
