Dhanush has a lot of exciting projects in his pipeline and one among those happens to be Karnan which is directed by Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal fame. Karnan has got high expectations among the fans and ardent film buffs and it is believed to make a significant impact on the audience after the release. Mari Selvaraj showed great promise with Pariyerum Perumal and all eyes are now focussed on Karnan. Mari is known as someone with strong ideologies and when a star hero like Dhanush is the protagonist, the message will definitely reach a wider audience.

Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations, Karnan has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan. The makers had released a making video on Dhanush’s birthday and it set a good impression among the audience. Having said that, the team has now released a new working still from the film and this picture has already started to do rounds on social media. In this picture, we see Dhanush seriously listening to Mari Selvaraj’s instructions and the duo seem to be in the middle of an important scene. Karnan will be an intense, hard-hitting film that will deal with strong emotions.

With a brilliant performer and actor like Dhanush at the front, we can be sure that Karnan will be an important film in Tamil cinema. Karnan is said to deal with a strong and socially relevant subject and we will get to see it very soon. The film has cinematography by ace lensman Theni Eshwar, editing by Selva RK, and art direction by Tha Ramalingam. Popular Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan will be seen as the female lead and this film will mark her debut in Tamil cinema. Apart from Dhanush and Rajisha Vijayan, Karnan also features Lal, Natty Natraj, Yogi Babu, Gouri Kishan, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli in the star cast.
