Atharvaa's Kanithan, directed by a newcomer Santhosh, has cleared the censor formalities with a clean U certificate. The film will release on Feb 26 clashing with Jiiva's Pokkiri Raja. He is paired opposite Catherine Tresa of Madras fame and in the film, Atharvaa is essaying the role of a reporter in this film.
Kanithan has music composed by Drums Sivamani. This film is tipped to be an investigative thriller.
