In less than 24 hours, Kamal Haasan's long-awaited Vikram will be released and the long and patient wait of the fans will come to an end. Vikram is releasing tomorrow in theatres across the globe and it is set to have a record-breaking opening, considering the huge hype surrounding the film. The makers have been releasing new posters regularly to hype up the buzz and on that note, a new poster was unveiled this morning (June 2) and it gives us a confirmation of Kamal Haasan's character. It has been officially confirmed that Kamal will be essaying the titular character, Vikram and his electrifying presence in the newly released poster looks solid.

A few days back there were rumours circulating on social media, stating that Suriya's cameo character could probably be called Vikram, but the speculations can now be put to rest as we know the real Vikram. Details regarding Suriya's character have been kept under wraps and the mystery will be unravelled tomorrow. Fahadh Faasil will be essaying the character of Amar in Vikram while Vijay Sethupathi will be playing the baddie, Santhanam. It is going to be a fantastic visual treat for the fans to witness the four leading stars come together in one film and this is truly one of the best cinematic moments mounted by director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The star filmmaker has already confirmed in one of his interviews that Vikram will be in the zone of Kaithi and there is a possible connection between the characters from both films. Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, Vikram has music composed by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander whose songs have turned out to be big hits among the masses. Kalidas Jayaram, Santhana Bharathi, Narain, Elango Kumaravel, Gayathrie, Jaffer Sadiq, VJ Maheshwari, Myna Nandhini, Shivani Narayanan, Swathishta, play supporting roles.

Vikram has cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan while Philomin Raj and Anbariv masters have taken care of the editing and stunt choreography departments respectively. Vikram has been censored with an U/A certificate with a runtime of 173 minutes (2 hrs 53 minutes) and it is set to be released in 5 languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
