Director Mu. Kalanjiyam was in the headlines for lodging a complaint against actress Anjali. Now, the director is again in the news for slapping actress Priyanka who passed out for about two hours on the sets of Kodai Mazhai.
Priyanka’s father stated that the team did not even help her get to a hospital. Priyanka has been badly injured and is advised to rest at home. The doctors who treated Priyanka asked her father to file a complaint against Kalanjiyam.
The team was shooting a particular scene where Kalanjiyam had to slap her. Reportedly, Priyanka complained of pain after the first slap, but when she was slapped again, she fainted.
However, Kalanjiyam in his defense says, Priyanka mistimed the shot because of which she got slapped close to her ear. He added that he was completely shocked on seeing her in that state.
