Chiyaan Vikram's Kadaram Kondan, which was directed by Rajesh M Selva, was jointly produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International in association with R Ravindran's Trident Arts. The movie hit the screens last year on 19th July and got a very good opening and the reception for the movie was as good as expected. This movie, which had Vikram in the lead, also saw Akshara Haasan and Abi Hassan, in vital roles. Abi Hassan, veteran actor Nassar's son, made his acting debut with this movie.

Kadaram Kondan was a unique experience as a whole due to the multi-cultural people who formed the cast. Rajesh mentioned that there were people from France, Malaysians, Malaysian Tamilians, also people from Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kerala. Rajesh told that getting the 45-member multi-cultural crew was indeed challenging and attributed that to the movie's success. The makers have now released a Redux version of the exhilarating song 'Kadaram Kondan.' Check it out:
