Vikram Prabhu's Neruppuda hit screens today. This is the actor's first movie as producer. The movie that shares its title with the superhit song from Rajinkanth's Kabali is about firefighters. Directed by debutant Ashok Kumar, the movie is a story of a group of young men and the fire within them to achieve their dreams.

Superstar Rajinikanth saw the movie and he was all praise for the actor and the movie. Vikram Prabhu tweeted about this. "My First audience-The Real #Neruppuda - @superstarrajini - loved our movie #Neruppuda ! Over the moon for the phonecall. Team Excited". It is indeed a great boost for the actor turned producer to get such words of encouragement.
