Suriya-Mohanlal starrer Kaappaan has been the talking point in the Industry for quite some time now. The film is set to see a release on September 20 and recently the makers even released the trailer. Needless to say, the trailer has been well-appreciated by the audience and it has raised the anticipation levels. Now that the release date has come closer, the producers are making sure that the pre-release business is on point too. Our sources have revealed to us that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights have been already acquired!
Talking to us our sources close to the development revealed that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Kaappaan has been acquired by popular producer Anbu Chezhiyan. For those who do not know, he has earlier produced films like Thanga Magan and Vishal's Marudhu. Well, although the exact amount has not been revealed, we are sure it must have been for a great price! From the looks of it the pre-release business is going pretty well for the makers of Kaappaan.
Kaappaan by director KV Anand is being produced by Lyca Productions. The film stars Suriya, Mohanlal, Arya and Sayeeshaa in important roles. Let’s see how the film fares at the Box Office!
