Today, the 7th of June marks one year since Kaala was released. This was the second collaboration of director Ranjith and Superstar Rajinikanth. Kaala had applaudable dialogues and mass scenes, yet did not have much of the hero glorifying scenes. Rajinikanth's performance was praised all around, and as Kaala's wife, Easwari Rao was very convincing. Even Huma Qureshi's acting was subtle and just what the character wanted. Fans all over the social media have been celebrating the movie. In fact the production company of Kaala, Wunderbar Films have uploaded a fan-made trailer, that's been cut by Gokul Venkat of GV Mediaworks. Check out the trailer, below!

Despite the banning of the movie at Karnataka due to the Cauvery river controversy, Kaala released across 2,000 theatres in the country. Even Kaala's music album, composed by Santhosh Narayanan was well receptioned by the audience. The falshback portions of the films were crisp and interestingly portrayed.
