These welfare activities promoted a journalist to ask Jyotika about her political ambition. Will Jyotika contest in next TN election? Will she be an MLA soon? Know what Jyotika replied to that?  
 
“There is so much that we can still do without coming to politics, in fact, we can do much than what a politician can do. No, don’t use me for your headlines, we can actually do a lot of good work even without being in politics. I think each and every citizen needs to be socially responsible. We should not depend on the government or anybody. If you want to clean your city, first clean your house before that, like that each and every one of us needs to be socially responsible.”
